Job summary

Canadian Manufacturing is seeking skilled maintenance personnel to service CNC Mills, Lathe and EDM machines. You will follow safety protocols, identify hazards, and perform lockout and emergency response as needed.

The role involves inspecting, repairing, troubleshooting and diagnosing industrial equipment, with emphasis on minimizing downtime and improving efficiency. Strong attention to detail and clear communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand safety responsibilities such as hazard identification and perform lockout and emergency response.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understand safety responsibilities such as hazard identification, and perform equipment lockout and emergency response
• Inspect / repair, troubleshooting and diagnosing machinery primarily CNC Mills, Lathe and EDM machines, such as DMG, GF, HAAS, Mori-Seiki, Okuma, Parpas, etc.
• Communicate/escalate all maintenance concerns/challenges to the Shop Supervisor
• Perform preventive maintenance procedures, to minimize downtime and maintenance costs, and manage equipment efficiencies

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience within a similar role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
