Job summary

Anthem Properties Group is seeking a part-time Maintenance Associate in Vancouver, BC. You will perform routine repairs, site maintenance, and assist with event set ups across a city-block asset. You will ensure safety, respond to tenant requests, and support the Property Manager, including after-hours emergencies.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication skills, and experience with tools. Valid BC driver’s license and basic computer skills are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant degree is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with the public.
• Proven experience in a maintenance role, preferably within the retail property industry.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather.
• Valid BC Driver’s License with a clean driving record and access to a vehicle.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor carpentry, electrical, painting and plumbing repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Perform general site maintenance.
• Assist with on-site event set ups.
• Complete inspections of all assigned areas.
• Ensure walkways are safe and clean.
• Assist in maintaining building supply inventories.
• Maintain access control and key control system.
• Assist in maintaining tracking systems for fire and life safety.
• Respond to tenant service requests as assigned.
• Work directly with and Maintenance team members and be directed by the Property Manager.
• Be on call for emergencies and after-hours.

Working Hours: Contract, Part-time.

The schedule: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm 3 days a week

Pay range: $27.00 per hour
