What You Do

• Perform a variety of maintenance and construction tasks including carpentry, drywall, HVAC preventive maintenance, painting, and minor plumbing
• Address guest needs/requests, such as electronic equipment, sink and toilet plumbing, light bulb changes, and lock access
• Work with our IT team to ensure all systems are maintained and functioning properly
• Assist management in performing various preventive maintenance tasks, including winterization, painting, power washing, steam cleaning, plumbing, curb and fence repairs, furniture maintenance, and exterior upkeep
• Follow and implement WCB standards, champion our SWP's, and uphold our internal safety program
• Help maintain gardens, landscaping, and building exteriors
• Coordinate quarterly, bi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance schedules with contractors as per service agreements

What You Need

• At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or construction (asset)
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• First aid certification (asset)
• A basic understanding of IT hardware and software
• Knowledge of major equipment, minor plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, or willingness to learn
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• General knowledge of SWP and safety standards
