Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will work under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across commercial and residential properties. This role requires a self-motivated individual who can work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial and residential properties, both interior and exterior
• Conduct basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain tools, equipment, and workspaces in good condition
• Assist with general upkeep of buildings and facilities
• Lift and transport materials and equipment weighing 50 lbs or more
  
  

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance, repair, or a related field, preferably in commercial or residential properties
• Reliable, punctual, and capable of working independently or within a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
• Experience with basic commercial and residential repairs, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more
• Any relevant safety designations or certifications are preferred
