Job Overview

Contribute toward the efficient operation of the plant by performing various tasks for the departments, utilizing a good knowledge of maintenance, electrical, and building systems, while complying with current ISO requirements, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

A Day In The Life
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Perform preventive maintenance on building and equipment per the maintenance management system
  • Initiate material requests for parts
  • Oversee contractors when repairs require outside vendor services
  • Perform other duties as directed by supervisor
What will help you thrive in this role?

Experience of two to four years in related maintenance areas such as mechanical, electrical, electro-mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and building infrastructure (compressed air, boilers and heating, water, fire systems), or a combination of education and experience.

  • Education and/or experience: High school diploma or GED preferred. Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and mathematical functions. Computer skills are a plus. Electrical experience required. PLC experience preferred.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and write, understand instructions, memorandums, and correspondence. Effective communication skills both orally and in writing.
  • Mathematical Skills: Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions. Problem-solving and root cause analysis skills are essential.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Must possess and maintain forklift operator certification through training.
