Job description

Clearbrook Grain & Milling, part of the Friesen Group of Companies, is looking for an experienced Part-Time Maintenance Technician.

Based in Abbotsford, BC, the Friesen Group of Companies have served the local agricultural community since 1953 with operations in livestock feed milling, hatchery, and poultry operations. At Friesen Group, we offer competitive wages, benefits and a supportive team and family-oriented environment.

Working as part of a team and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, responsibilities include repair and maintenance of building and equipment in the mill which may include fabricating, small fleet maintenance, mechanical and general maintenance duties. Responsibilities also include installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in accordance with safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.

Requirements:

Industry maintenance work experience.

Demonstrated equipment and mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a good command of written and spoken English language.

Organized and detail oriented.

Physical strength and stamina to do the required maintenance and repair work.

A millwright ticket or 4th Class Power Engineering certificate would be assets.
