Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton, AB is seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Associate to participate in a structured cleaning program to keep aisles and departments clean and safe for customers and associates.

You will follow food safety standards, inspect equipment, and collaborate with store teams to ensure a consistently clean environment while meeting safety training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with associates on cleaning.
• Follows food safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Cleans Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers and display fixtures in a timely manner.
• Inspects maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe environment by completing in-store certifications and adhering to policies.
• Cleans floors using mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintains carpets in non-sales areas.

What You'll Do

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $16.45.
