Job summary

Walmart Canada in Hawkesbury, ON is seeking a Maintenance Cleaner to participate in a structured cleaning program and help maintain a clean and safe shopping and working environment.

You will follow the cleaning regime in all Fresh Departments, comply with Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines, inspect equipment, ensure supplies are available, and support in-store certification programs in line with company policies.

The role starts at a minimum rate of $18.05 per hour.

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
