Job summary

Walmart in Cornwall, ON is seeking staff to participate in a structured maintenance cleaning program, ensuring a clean and safe shopping and working environment. This role supports in-store cleaning across all Fresh Departments, including coolers and display fixtures, while maintaining supplies and equipment condition.

The position includes completing required in-store certifications and following company policies, with duties extending to floor cleaning via mop, sweep, vacuum, and carpet care

• Communicates with the Stocking 3 Coach and cooperates with the associates on a comprehensive cleaning regiment.
• Complies with all Food Safety standards and cold chain guidelines.
• Executes timely cleaning of all Fresh Departments include coolers, freezers and display fixtures.
• Assist in the inspection all maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure proper working condition and ensures sufficient supplies are available.
• Promotes a safe working environment by ensuring completion of required in-store certification programs and work in accordance with all Company policies and procedures
• When required, clean floors following a system of; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming and maintaining carpets, including all non-sales floor areas.
