Job summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead skilled trades in a unionized manufacturing setting, ensuring safety, reliability and uptime of production assets. You will manage preventative/predictive maintenance, drive TPM initiatives, oversee CAPEX projects, and mentor a team through continuous improvement while coordinating with other departments and maintenance management.

Flexibility for night/continental shifts and strong PLC/CMMS skills are expected, along with a track record

Qualifications

Engineering degree or diploma with relevant trade certs.
2-3 years supervisory experience in maintenance.
Experience in FMCG/food/beverage industries is an asset.
Experience supervising PLC troubleshooting and programming is an asset.
Knowledge of CFIA, HACCP, BRC regulations is an asset.

Responsibilities

Oversee maintenance team and contractors in a unionized, manufacturing environment.
Lead PM/maintenance shutdowns, capital projects and reliability initiatives.
Drive TPM implementation and root cause analysis for downtime events.
Monitor budgets, spare parts, and maintenance spend.
Ensure safety compliance with OHSA and company standards.
