Job summary

Bimbo Canada is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for our Moncton area operations. You will oversee millwrights and electricians, ensure plant safety, and drive maintenance efficiency across a fast-paced, largely automated facility.

Ideal candidates bring a licensed trade, 3+ years supervisory experience, and strong PLC troubleshooting and OHSA knowledge. This role offers a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within the Bimbo network.

Qualifications

• Trade certification as a Licensed Millwright or Licensed Electrician.
• Post-secondary education or equivalent preferred.
• 3+ years as a maintenance supervisor in a unionized, automated facility.
• Food/beverage packaging industry experience is a plus.
• PLC troubleshooting/programming experience is an asset.
• Strong knowledge of OHSA and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise millwrights and electricians in a unionized setting.
• Ensure safety and OHSA compliance across operations.
• Lead maintenance initiatives and communicate with all departments.
• Schedule work orders and manage preventive maintenance (PM) programs.
• Oversee capital projects with internal teams and contractors.
• Address employee relations per collective agreement and coach direct reports.
