Qualifications

• 1+ years in a lead technician or supervisory role within an industrial/process-manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with welding, compactor repair, conveyors, and industrial electronic diagnostics.
• Familiarity with Manitoba workplace safety regulations, lock-out/tag-out, and environmental standards.
• Computer literacy to manage work orders, log equipment data, and run diagnostic software.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and coach maintenance technicians; direct daily work and assist with hiring decisions.
• Plan, schedule, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on processing equipment (conveyors, compactors, motors, and facility electronics).
• Perform complex mechanical, electrical, and structural repairs alongside the team when necessary.
• Inspect internal and third‑party repairs to ensure alignment with safety standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Log maintenance activities, track repair history, and manage shop records.
