  • Assist with procurement and inventory management, including ordering parts and maintenance supplies, while maintaining critical spare components.
  • Perform scheduled and emergency repairs to minimize production disruption.
  • Interpret and apply technical manuals, schematics, and work orders to maintenance and servicing.
  • Maintain detailed records using CMMS and ESA logbooks.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair simple control networks within the facility.
  • Operate cutting or welding equipment for modifications.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and safety.

About the Role

The Maintenance Specialist will be responsible for performing predictive and preventative maintenance on plastic extrusion machinery, equipment, and machine shop tools to ensure machine availability and reliability.

  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational efficiency and maintain safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Vocational training or an associate degree in the field of industrial maintenance technology or mechanical engineering technology and technical certification in maintenance or a related field.
  • Mechanical engineering Degree & P. Eng Certification will be an asset.
  • Experience in equipment maintenance, assembly, installation, and maintenance of foam industry/foam extruders will be preferred.
