Job summary

Autismservices is seeking a part-time Maintenance Worker to perform general maintenance and repairs at the Prairie Health Care Centre in Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate must have experience in a maintenance environment, holding a Fireman Boiler Operator certificate and other relevant licenses.

Qualifications

Job description

Job Details
  • Salary: Pay Band 11 $22,600 to $24,210 (3 step range)
  • Employment Terms: Part‑time, Permanent, 0.5 FTE
  • Shift: Days, Weekends; 7 shifts of 8 hours per 3‑week rotation; Standard hours
  • Union: SEIU
  • Facility: Prairie Health Care Centre
  • Department: Plant Maintenance
Responsibilities

Performs general maintenance and repairs for facility/plant systems, equipment, grounds and buildings.

Qualifications
  • Experience: One year in a maintenance environment (commercial or industrial)
  • Education: Fireman Boiler Operator certificate
  • Licenses: Valid Class 5 driver’s license; Boiler Operator license issued pursuant to Boiler & Pressure Vessels Safety Act
  • Other Education and Training: Pool Operator certificate, Refrigeration Plant Operator certificate, Refrigeration Engineer certificate (as required)
  • Competencies: Organizational skills; Communication skills; Basic computer skills; Interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge & Abilities: Knowledge of tools and equipment; Ability to work independently
