Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods in Ontario, London, Canada, is seeking a Planner to lead maintenance planning and scheduling. You’ll develop comprehensive maintenance plans, optimize resources, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and maximize asset reliability.

You bring at least 5 years of maintenance planning experience, a college diploma, and strong skills in SAP, PowerBI, and CMMS. The role offers a competitive base salary with annual incentive and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or related field.
• College diploma or university degree; journeyperson ticket is a plus.
• Proficiency with SAP, PowerBI and CMMS systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive maintenance plans for preventive, predictive, and corrective work.
• Review and optimize maintenance routes and BOMs in SAP.
• Plan scheduling horizons for short, mid, and long-term activities including overhauls and installations.
• Lead optimization activities and root cause analyses for maintenance issues.
• Collaborate with stores/MRO for parts availability and timely execution.
