Qualifications

Hudbay Minerals is seeking Mill Maintenance Millwrights for their Copper Mountain Mine in Princeton, BC. These roles offer the chance to work in a dynamic mining environment, performing preventative maintenance and repairs on mill equipment. The ideal candidates are Red Seal Millwrights with industrial experience, preferably in mining, and a strong mechanical aptitude. This is a 7x7 rotation position with both day and night shifts, providing opportunities for career growth and development within a collaborative team.

What You’ll Need

• Red Seal Millwright Certification
• At least 1 year of industrial experience (mining preferred)
• Experience with SAG and Ball mills, conveyors, and gyratory crushers is an asset
• Welding experience is an asset
• Valid Class 5/7N driver’s license and access to personal transportation
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently
• Meet pre-employment testing requirements
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in noisy, dusty, and adverse weather conditions
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and on uneven surfaces
• Must be clean-shaven
