Job summary

Multimatic is hiring a Maintenance Millwright in Concord, Ontario. The role focuses on repairing and troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, interpreting schematics, and fabricating parts as needed.

You will support maintenance drives, ensure safety and organization, and participate in continuous improvement on the production line. Ideal candidates hold a 433A license with 5+ years in the field and have electrical troubleshooting and PLC experience.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid 433A/Millwright license or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ field experience as a millwright/industrial mechanic.
• Extensive experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

## Maintenance MillwrightApply: Concord, Ontario: Full time: Posted Today: JR103547**Responsibilities:*** Perform millwright duties including the repair and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools.* Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine and verify work procedures.* Provide troubleshooting support to maintenance personnel on electrical systems, PLC programming, and other technical issues as required.* Operate machine tools such as lathes and grinders to fabricate parts for overhaul, maintenance, or machinery setup.* Complete all required documentation including work orders, time sheets, logbook entries, and line book revisions in a timely manner.* Assist in implementing continuous improvement initiatives on the production line.* Conduct routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.* Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for all assembly equipment.* Recommend critical spare parts requirements to support equipment reliability.* Participate actively in preventative maintenance programs and downtime reduction efforts.* Identify opportunities to improve equipment efficiency and reduce operational costs.* Prepare reports outlining issues encountered during shifts and other relevant updates.* Ensure clean, safe, and organized working conditions at all times.* Demonstrate professionalism in maintaining work area cleanliness and organization.* Comply with TS16949 and ISO14001 standards and requirements.* Follow all departmental procedures and company policies.* Adhere to all company health and safety regulations.* Perform other duties as assigned. **Requirements:**· Hold a valid 433A license (perferred).· Minimum 5 years’ experience in the field.· Must be a licensed Millwright, Industrial Mechanic or equivalent.· Extensive experience with Pneumatic, Hydraulic, and mechanical systems and tools.· Machine Shop and MIG/TIG Welding experience an asset.· Electrical trouble shooting capabilities required.This job posting is for an existing vacancy.
