Job summary

Multirim Inc. in Concord, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic, Factory for a permanent, full-time role.

The position requires starting as soon as possible and involves day, weekend, overtime, and early morning shifts (07:00–15:30). The candidate will detect and troubleshoot malfunctions, perform routine maintenance, repairs, and work with welding equipment, pumps, compressors, hydraulic systems, and power tools while reading blueprints.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation or equivalent is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
• WHMIS and safety certifications are required.
• CWB and forklift certifications preferred.
• English language required.

Responsibilities

• Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions.
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery.
• Repair equipment and systems.
• Supervise other workers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications.
• Operate welding equipment as needed.
• Work with pumps, compressors and power tools.
• Be able to handle physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work overtime and accept shift flexibility.
