Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H Milling) in Vanscoy, SK is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations, drive equipment reliability and ensure health, food safety, and quality standards are met. This role leads a maintenance team and partners with Production, QA and OH&S to maintain uptime and cost discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent required.
• Supervisory experience leading a small team.
• Experience with CMMS software.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings.
• Journeyman/Red Seal in Millwright or Electrician preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction through coaching and mentoring.
• Lead preventive maintenance program.
• Coordinate communication with Production, QA, OH&S teams.
• Plan and oversee installation, maintenance and repair of industrial machinery.
• Provide recommendations via root cause analysis.

The Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Manager to join our P&H Milling team. This role is responsible for or overseeing all maintenance activities to ensure the efficient, effective, and economical operation of the facility. This role provides leadership to the maintenance team, drives equipment reliability and performance, and supports continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all health and safety, food safety, and quality standards while maintaining a productive and cost-conscious operation.
Day to Day

• Provide direction and leadership through effective coaching and mentoring.
• Maintains an effective Preventive Maintenance (PM) program.
• Maintains a transparent and effective communication with Production, QA, OH&S teams at all times.
• Plan and oversee installation, maintenance and repair industrial machinery which includes plant equipment, piping systems, pneumatic systems, and facility structure / services.
• Provide recommendations and suggestions to address plant and equipment deficiencies or for continuous improvement through root cause analysis (RCA).
• Effectively assist in managing and controlling maintenance costs and budget
• Maintain documents and records in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Manage equipment inventory and procurement of parts.
• Assist in the installation of Capital projects including the research of the project, cost estimates, sourcing of contractors and project timelines.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Applied Science Technologist (AScT), Journeyman/Red Seal trades certification as Millwright or Electrician.
• Supervisory experience leading a small team.
• Working knowledge with any CMMS software.
• Ability to read, follow and understand electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings, blueprints, schematics, code requirements, service manuals and manufacturers' specifications.
• Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making.
