Lumentis is seeking a Maintenance Manager in Belleville, Ontario to lead maintenance operations for plant equipment and facilities. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime and support operational goals.
The role requires a Professional Engineering degree with at least 5 years in a related field, preferably automotive, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

Starting at $120,000 annually
The Maintenance Manager is responsible for leading all maintenance operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable performance of plant equipment and facilities. This role oversees preventive maintenance programs, equipment repairs, continuous improvement initiatives, budget management, and maintenance team development. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime, support operational goals, and ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards while fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Professional Engineering required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in related field, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.
Strong organizational skills.
Self-starter with the ability to prioritize many different tasks.
Familiar with various legislation/codes (OHSA, EPA, Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Code, etc.).
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to gather and analyze information.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail.
Ability to manage flexible work schedule requirements.
Understanding of Lean manufacturing.
Sound leadership skills (previous supervisory/managerial experience required).
