Job description

Bourgault Industries is looking for aFacilities Tier IV Supervisor to guide the maintenance team to success by coaching, counseling, leading, and motivating. This also includes planning and organizing daily tasks and developing long-term goals for the department.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, train, and motivate team members
• Assign work to team members
• Guide team members on how to work safely and advise Maintenance & Facilities Leader of major safety concerns
• Lead major projects while minimizing disruption to production (shutdown, weekends, etc.)
• Provide assistance to team members in the effectiveness of their methods by demonstrating tasks and by checking the quality of their work
• Organize the work by ensuring that the materials, tooling and equipment necessary to do the job are in place
• Ensure all team members have the required training to effectively perform all aspects of their jobs
• Develop and maintain a “Continuous Improvement” culture focusing on the elimination of waste while striving to provide increased value to our customers, both internal and external
• Perform hands-on duties, when time permits

Required Skills/Experience

• Journeyman Electrician certification is preferred
• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills

• Equipment and process knowledge
• High degree of analytical thought and creativity
• Able to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
• Supervisor pre-promotion training is an asset but not a requirement
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if required

Wage Range

$32.07-$58.43 - Starting Wage is dependent on experience and journeyman designation.
