IKO Industries Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Engineering Student (Co-op) for a 12-month contract in Hawkesbury, ON. You will work with the Plant Maintenance team to support maintenance programs and capital projects.

The ideal candidate is an undergraduate engineering student with strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Inventor/SolidWorks), proficiency in MS Office, and good organizational abilities. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on project experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; CAD experience is an asset.
• Good organizational skills and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Work with Plant Maintenance team to support maintenance projects.
• Shadow Millwrights and Electricians to create maintenance SOPs and SWIs.
• Assist Reliability Engineer with review of PM and PdM activities.
• Perform spare parts optimization for PM and PdM tasks.
• Assist in project management including planning and closeout.
• Prepare drawings and modeling for projects.
