Qualifications

• Proficient in MS Excel; able to create Pareto charts, pivot tables and lookups.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
• Troubleshooting capability is a plus.
• Self-starter and eager to work.

Responsibilities

• Assist Reliability Engineers to perform data analysis and parts usage categorization.
• Review drawings and asset labels to align with standardized names across sites.
• Support Top 5 Reliability initiatives with coordination.
• Perform data collection and analysis in Prodac CMMS with Excel interpretation and trending.
• Standardize Failure modes for PM and PdM tasks to maintain assets.
• Accurately create hyperlinks between PDFs and service requests, BOMs, manuals, etc.
• Document asset information that needs updating in drawings.
• Recommend more efficient ways to sort, categorize and standardize items.
• Assist Spare Parts optimization supporting reliability initiatives.
• PM and PdM inspection tasks for Highly Critical Assets.
• Assist data collection during Root Cause Analysis investigations.
• Develop and update CMMS SOPs, WI’s, Test Scripts and Training Videos.

Job Description

We are looking for a Corporate Reliability Engineering Intern to join our team. The role is open to recent Engineering grads and any current students who may still be looking for a Co-Op that begins this Fall. We are hiring immediately for this position.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist Reliability Engineers to perform data analysis, categorization of parts, parts usage rates, etc.
• Review drawings and field labels on assets to build a cross reference with standardized asset names at other sites.
• Work with the Plant Maintenance Supervisor, Reliability Engineer, Inventory Coordinator, Planners/ Scheduler, Mill Wrights, etc., to help drive the progress with the Top 5 Reliability initiatives
• Perform Data collection and some analysis within Prodac (Downtime Tracking System) exported to Excel and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with interpretation and trending of highly critical equipment with common repeating failure patterns at the plant
• Supporting Reliability Engineer Data collection and standardization of Failure modes and the Preventive (PM) and Predictive (PdM) Maintenance tasks to maintain the assets
• Accurately create Hyperlinks between large volumes of related PDF drawings and corresponding Service Request forms, Bill Of Materials, Manuals, etc., to accelerate time to find correct parts and create requests for work, etc.
• Document asset information that needs to be updated in the drawings
• Recommend more efficient ways to sort through and categorize and standardize the above items
• Work with Reliability Engineer to perform Spare Parts optimization that support the above
• Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) inspection tasks for the Highly Critical Assets
• Assist Reliability Engineers with collecting evidence and data during Root Cause Analysis investigations
• Develop and update CMMS SOP’s, WI’s, Test Scripts and Training Videos

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Recent graduate from a University Engineering program, preferably Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical.
• For current students, 3rd or 4th year students strongly preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel, analyzing spreadsheet information, using Pareto's, Bar Charts, Look Up Tables, Pivot Tables, Drop Down Menus, etc.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Word and MS Power Point.
• Troubleshooting capability is a plus
• Self-starter and eager to work.

Wage and Hours

Wage $25.50/ hour - $29.00/hour

Hours/ Days / Schedule Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday {30 - 40 hours, day shift}
