Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead capital and maintenance projects in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will develop scopes, budgets, and schedules, and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and operations teams.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3–5 years in process industries, and strong troubleshooting and project-management skills. Proficiency in CAD, MS Office, and CMMS is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of industrial experience in cement, mining, aggregates, heavy manufacturing, pulp & paper, petrochemical, or similar process industries.
• Ability to independently identify issues, develop solutions, and drive projects to completion.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of industrial mechanical systems and equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-aided design software.

Responsabilités

• Lead small to medium-sized capital and maintenance projects from concept through commissioning and startup.
• Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, technical specifications, and execution plans.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Monitor project performance, costs, safety compliance, quality standards, and schedule adherence.
• Support equipment installations, system upgrades, and plant improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
• Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams by troubleshooting equipment and process-related issues.
• Drive reliability improvements for mechanical, rotating, conveying, hydraulic, pneumatic, and material-handling systems.
• Develop equipment standards, maintenance strategies, and preventive maintenance programs to improve asset performance.
• Prepare and review engineering designs, layouts, equipment modifications, technical documentation, drawings, and scopes of work.
• Support plant optimization and continuous improvement efforts through engineering evaluations and asset management best practices.
