Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to coordinate and supervise maintenance activities, maximizing equipment availability at the lowest maintenance cost while following OH&S rules.

You will lead a team and collaborate with planning and other departments to ensure safe, reliable operations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2–5 years of planning experience in an industrial setting, and hands-on work with SAP, MS Project and Google Workspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of planning experience in an industrial environment.
• Experience with health, safety and environment practices (OH&S).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to corrective maintenance task definition and weekly plan creation with planning team.
• Maintain information on team availability and communicate to planners.
• Coordinate with other departments and organize personnel for repairs and big shutdowns.
• Assign team members daily for work orders and review risks with resources.
• Supervise execution and monitor quality of work performed.
• Monitor duration, cost and performance of crew and subcontractors; manage overtime.
• Confirm work orders in SAP and provide feedback on quality and parts usage.
• Contribute to reducing equipment failure via root-cause analysis.
• Suggest solutions to improve equipment lifetime and reliability.
• Record adjustments and anomalies observed during work.
• Supervise, train and develop direct reports to meet dept goals.
