Job Description
In accordance with the Vision, Purpose, and Values, and strategic direction of the Vancouver Island Health Authority (Island Health), patient & staff safety is a priority and a shared responsibility. Continuous quality and safety improvements are inherent in all aspects of this position.
Reporting to the Manager or designate, the successful candidate will operate, maintain, and repair building systems and equipment. They will perform trade duties approaching the journeyman level in one or more construction trade areas, work on building demolition, renovation, and construction tasks, and may be involved in building system operation and/or maintenance. Administrative duties and supervision of designated staff may also be required.
