Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Service Technician 3 / 4th Year Apprentice located in the Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area. The Junior Service Technician will be responsible for maintenance and repair, troubleshooting, field service, and providing excellent customer service to ensure the operational efficiency of industrial equipment, with a heavy emphasis on electric forklift, propane forklifts, and scissor lifts. You will work both independently and with senior service technicians who will guide you through troubleshooting and complex repairs.

• Field Service and Customer Service skills
• Experience in maintenance of industrial equipment
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Technical certification or completion of a related apprenticeship program
• Enrolment / HD enrolment with prior work experience
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work for periods unattended

Pay, Benefits, and Hours

• Salary: $70-80k per year
• Dental / Medical benefits
• 3 weeks vacation
• 32-hour work week (4-day work week) after probation
• Probationary period: 120 days
