Job description

Reporting to the Process Plant Maintenance Planning and Reliability Superintendent, you will be part of the Process Plant Department. You will be responsible for providing support to the Process Plant Maintenance team by being accountable for the development and execution of all maintenance continuous improvement projects and to provide technical support to maintenance and operations in alignment with the corporate strategy, policies and procedures. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Identification of opportunities for improvement in process, maintenance / operation practices and equipment
• Lead, coach and facilitate the management of change process in the plant area
• Prepare project scopes and justification documents that adhere to quality requirements
• Prepare and conduct quality control / assurance plans for projects
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations and contractor teams to provide safe, cost-effective and efficient solutions while also implementing sustainable strategies
• Prepare, track and report budgets and progress for OPEX projects
• Support the planning and execution of major shutdowns
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to improve equipment start-up, shutdown and sequencing time frames

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering
• 5 years’ experience, specifically in a construction or maintenance capacity
• Supervisory experience
• SAP knowledge and experience
• Experience with RBI programs
• Experience with TSSA regulations
• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint

• Schedule : 14 / 14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine
• Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada
