Job summary

PTW Energy Services seeks a Journeyman Electrician to join our team on industrial construction sites near Wandering River, Alberta. You will install electrical systems, read blueprints, and ensure compliance with the Canadian Electrical Code and OH&S requirements.

The role requires a valid Journeyperson certificate, 2+ years of industrial construction electrical experience, and a strong commitment to safety with flexible shifts and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate (Red Seal preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial construction electrical work.
• Valid H2S Alive, Fall Protection, AWP/MEWP, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR/AED), ESTS, CSO, and Confined Space.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and OH& S requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficient with hand tools, testing devices, and electrical equipment.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Flexible availability for shift work, overtime, and weekends, with a strong focus on safety and self-direction.
• Ability to work in various environments, including heights, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.

Responsibilities

• Overtime opportunities paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate
• Employee Referral Bonus Program, offering up to $1,000 per successful referral
