We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Maintenance Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential to the day-to-day operations of our property management division, supporting property managers, tenants, and owners by ensuring maintenance is handled efficiently, professionally, and with care.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all maintenance requests and work orders
- Provide keys or access as needed to properties for contractors
- Communicate directly with property owners regarding required repairs, approvals, and updates
- Retrieve and manage vendor quotes, ensuring accuracy and cost-efficiency
- Schedule, track, and follow up on maintenance work to confirm completion
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance issues, vendor communications, and resolutions
- Conduct on-site maintenance inspections and respond to emergency maintenance situations as needed
- Collaborate closely with tenants, owners, vendors, and internal staff as a central point of support
Requirements
- Strong understanding of residential property maintenance and general building systems
- Experience in property management, construction coordination, or related field preferred
- Professional, solution-focused communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for site visits
- Proficient with email, Google Drive, and task-tracking systems
- Must be comfortable working in the office full-time, with travel to properties as required
- On-call rotation sharing amongst other staff
