Job summary

Jones Healthcare Group in Brampton, Canada, is seeking a Maintenance Coordinator to keep our operations safe, reliable and compliant. You will coordinate maintenance activities, support calibration, manage records, and liaise with vendors, maintenance, engineering, and production teams to drive reliability and efficiency.

The role emphasizes organization, documentation accuracy, audit-readiness, and continuous improvement, with a salary in the 55k–65k range and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years in maintenance admin or facilities coordination.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
  • CMMS experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Maintenance Coordination: Plan, prioritize, and track preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities from work order creation through completion.
  • Project Support: Support equipment commissioning, validation activities, production line trials, and technical drawing updates for tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate contractors, service providers, and suppliers to complete repairs, servicing, and facility work safely, on time, and within budget.
  • Maintenance Records: Maintain accurate work orders, service histories, inspection logs, labour, costs, and compliance documentation in maintenance systems.
  • Inventory & Purchasing: Manage maintenance supplies, tools, and spare parts while sourcing materials and coordinating timely, cost-effective deliveries.
  • Reporting & Insights: Prepare maintenance reports, track KPIs, monitor costs, and share insights that support performance and continuous improvement.
  • Calibration Compliance: Coordinate calibration schedules, certificates, external services, and audit-ready records in line with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Process Improvement: Maintain maintenance, calibration, and safety procedures while tracking supplier corrective actions through to resolution.

What You’ll Be Accountable For

What You’ll Bring
  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance administration, facilities coordination, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate records, documentation, and audit-readiness.
  • Clear communication and collaboration skills with internal teams, vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Consider an asset:
    • Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
    • Experience in a manufacturing or regulated environment.
    • Additional certification in maintenance, facilities management, or a related discipline.
    • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.

Total Rewards

We’re offering a competitive compensation in the range of $55,000 – $65,000 per year. Pay will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
