Job summary

Connective is seeking a Maintenance and Administrative Coordinator in Port Hardy, BC to upkeep the building and support residents and staff. The role covers interior and exterior maintenance, safety compliance, and coordinating external contractors as needed.

You will join the Administrative Support Team, report to the Maintenance & Asset Manager, and work 40 hours a week with occasional evenings or weekends. A Grade 12 education and hands-on maintenance experience are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent with two years related experience.
• Experience in carpentry, painting, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance.
• Ability to establish collaborative relationships with residents and staff.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs within scope and ensure safety standards.
• Coordinate repairs with external contractors.
• Monitor maintenance supplies and schedule repairs.
• Maintain up-to-date maintenance and repair records.
• Assist with budget planning and vendor management.
