Job summary

Eastern Townships School Board in Magog, Quebec seeks an Administration Technician for Recruitment and Movement of Personnel (replacement). 35 hours/week, 8:00 am–4:00 pm, starting Nov 2, 2026, ending Aug 2027. Hourly rate $27.78–$37.08.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will support recruitment and staff movement activities and verify candidate qualifications. You will assist with documentation, orientation sessions, and HR data in pay and HR systems, while coordinating exams

Qualifications

• Bilingual, French and English (oral and written).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, SharePoint and Teams. Google environment proficiency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of GRICS (Paie et GRH) would be an asset.
• Atlas recruitment platform experience would be an asset.
• Minimum of one year of HR experience, especially staffing and internal movements.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the recruitment and movement of personnel.
• Verify degree and professional qualifications of candidates.
• Ensure authenticity of documents produced.
• Verify work history and conduct background checks.
• Organize exam sessions, administer tests and examinations.
• Welcome new staff and conduct orientation sessions.
