Job summary

Dumas Contracting Inc. is seeking a MacLean Bolter Operator for underground development tasks in the Lalor/Snow Lake area, Manitoba. You will operate the MacLean Bolter to install ground support, following safety protocols and the mine plan.

The role requires pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and clear communication with the team to achieve production targets while adhering to site regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a MacLean Bolter in underground mining.
• Valid Ontario Underground Hard Rock Miner Common Core certification.
• Strong knowledge of drilling and blasting techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operate MacLean Bolter to install primary and secondary ground support (rock bolts, mesh, screen) in development headings according to the mine plan.
• Ensure compliance with Dumas and site-specific safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Conduct pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on equipment, reporting all issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production targets.
• Participate in workplace inspections and hazard assessments.
• All other duties as assigned by leadership

Rotation: 14/14

Shift: 11.5 HRs

Wage: $68.80 - $86.00

Travel/Accommodations/Meals: Provided

About the Role:

As a MacLean Bolter Operator with Dumas, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of MacLean bolting equipment to install ground support in underground development headings. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and safety of the mine.

Key Responsibilities:
