Pay: $43-44/h

Shift: 12 hour shifts Friday-Sunday

(also opportunity for 5, 10 hour afternoon shifts Mon-Fri)

We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist with strong conventional lathe and turning experience . This role is ideal for a hands‑on machinist who takes pride in precision work and enjoys machining high-quality components in a clean, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and machining drawings.

  • Set up and operate conventional lathes, mills, surface grinders, and cylindrical grinders.

  • Perform precision turning and machining to tight tolerances.

  • Select appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds for various materials.

  • Support CNC setup, operation, and programming activities.

  • Design and build fixtures and jigs as required.

Essential Skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 429A General Machinist, 492A, or equivalent certification.

  • CNC setup and programming experience.

  • Experience with SolidWorks, GibbsCAM, or conversational programming.

  • Experience machining specialty alloys such as Titanium, Zirconium, Stainless Steel, and Inconel.

  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 or similar quality environment.

  • Must be able to pass a background check.

  • Must be eligible to work in a Controlled Goods environment.
