Qualifications

• Ability to read and edit G-code as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment by performing preventative maintenance and scheduling repairs as needed.

• Prepare and load raw material, weldments, or castings in machines.
• Program and run CNC code.
• Use tools to create and repair tooling, including grinders and overhead cranes.

Pay: $27.41 to $35.46 per hour
Shift: Must be flexible to work either shift, depending on operational needs
Hours: Afternoons: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM Monday - Thursday

Position Summary

The Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform various tasks such as drilling, milling, and turning. This role requires a combination of technical skill, precision, and problem-solving ability to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, experience in precision machining, and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance (PMs) and requesting repairs as needed
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical and operational issues
• Prepare and load/set up raw material, weldments, or castings in machines
• Program and run CNC code
• Use various equipment and tools to create and repair tooling, including grinders, welding equipment, machining equipment, and overhead cranes
• Maintain strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Manufacture parts according to prints and technical drawings

Equipment, Tools & Technology Used

• Measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, calipers, height gauges, and other precision tools
• 3- and 4-axis CNC machines
• Lathes

Requirements

• Licensed Machinist (preferred)
