Job summary

NPAworldwide in Kingston, Ontario is seeking a machinist to operate and set up both manual and CNC machines, ensuring parts meet tolerances and drawings. You will inspect parts at several production stages, identify irregularities and address non-conformances, and adjust tooling as needed.

Requirements include a Machinist Certificate of Qualification and 3+ years in a machine shop with large horizontal/vertical mills. Heidenhain CNC experience is a plus. Rotating shifts, CAD/CAM exposure valued.

Qualifications

• Machinist Certificate of Qualification is required.
• 3+ years' work experience in a machine shop environment with large horizontal and/or vertical mills.
• Ability to interpret blue print drawings and accurately read various measuring tools.
• Understanding of machinery and equipment and material tolerances.
