ESTAMPRO Inc. in Québec is seeking a skilled Machine-tool operator to join its expanding team. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machines to shape and form metal parts according to customer specifications.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience in machine-tool operation and demonstrate proficiency in reading plans and using measuring instruments. This position offers competitive pay and a supportive work environment.

Estampro is looking for a Machine-tool operator

The operator uses machines for shaping, forming, stamping and cutting parts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Read and interpret customers’ drawings;
• Adjust the machine tools accordingly;
• Operate machine tools and other processing equipment;
• Conduct required maintenance tasks;
• Operate lifting devices and cranes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent or work experience that can substitute the absence of the diploma deemed valid by the employer;
• Knowledge of plan reading;
• Machine-tools operation proficiency;
• Thoroughly master the measuring instruments (caliper, protractor, micrometer);
• Minimum of 6 months in a similar position;
• To be recognized as a reliable, dynamic and resourceful candidate.

SCHEDULE:

• Daytime: Monday to Thursday from 7:15 am to 5:00 pm and Friday from 7:15 am to 12:15 pm (40 hours per week)
• Evening: Monday to Thursday from 4:50 pm to 3:10 am (40 hours per week)

Competitive hourly rate, paid each week.
