Estampro is looking for a Plasma Cutting Operator

Estampro is looking for two Plasma Cutting Operators.

The Plasma Cutting Operator is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC plasma cutting equipment to manufacture metal parts according to specifications and quality standards. The operator ensures efficient production while maintaining equipment performance and workplace safety.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications;
  • Load cutting programs and CAD/CAM files into the CNC controller;
  • Adjust cutting parameters according to material type and thickness;
  • Load and unload metal sheets using material handling equipment;
  • Operate plasma cutting equipment and monitor production processes;
  • Inspect dimensions and quality of finished parts using measuring tools;
  • Perform deburring and minor finishing work as required;
  • Carry out basic preventive maintenance on equipment;
  • Replace torch consumables such as electrodes and nozzles;
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment;
  • Follow all health and safety procedures.
PROFILE REQUIRED
  • High School Diploma or relevant training in welding, machining, or sheet metal fabrication;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings;
  • Comfortable using computerized equipment and CNC interfaces;
  • Strong attention to detail and precision;
  • Good organizational skills and autonomy;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
SCHEDULE
  • Evening Shift: Monday to Thursday from 4:50 p.m. to 3:10 a.m. (40 hours/week)
