Job summary

AX-Découpe inc. is seeking a Finishing Operator in Terrebonne to support our growth. You will perform finishing on machined components and ensure compliance with quality standards. The role requires attention to safety and a proactive approach.

You will handle deburring, drilling, milling, tapping, and related tasks while assisting with shipping and maintaining accurate inventories. A high school diploma and basic blueprint reading knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of blueprint reading and metrology.
• Experience in finishing machined products is an asset.
• Safety-minded with initiative and autonomy.

Responsibilities

• Perform finishing operations on components (deburring, drilling, milling, tapping, bending, gluing).
• Conduct scheduled quality control checks.
• Assemble components according to specifications.
• Assist shipping with packing, identifying products and verifying quantities.

As a Finishing Operator, you play a key role in the final quality of produced parts. Based on quotes and sketches, you perform the finishing of various machined components while ensuring their compliance with the company’s quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Perform various finishing operations on components (deburring, drilling, milling, tapping, bending, gluing);
• Perform scheduled quality control;
• Assemble components according to specifications;
• Assist, as needed, the shipping department (pack parts, identify products, verify quantities, etc.).

• You have strong proficiency with tools (drill, saw, router, milling machine, etc.);
• You’re proficient in French;

• You’re meticulous and thorough.
