Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Überwachung der Produktionslinie auf Defekte und Einhaltung der Sicherheitsstandards.
• Durchführung von Maschinenwechseln und Pflege der Produktionsaufzeichnungen.

Job description

Join to apply for the Machine Operator - Seasonal role at Refresco.

Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include machine-specific tasks such as Labeller, Filler, Depalletizer, Mead, Kayat, Palletizer, Harkness, etc.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies:

• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs, and wear required PPE in warehouse or production areas.
• Ensure compliance with food quality and safety standards, including Safe Quality Food requirements.
• Possess in-depth operational knowledge of the machine and related equipment.
• Follow the production schedule and communicate with the Lead Hand regarding issues or changes.
• Monitor the line for defects such as down bottles/cans, low fills, faulty packaging, damage, or label issues.
• Check finished products for proper closures, date codes, and packaging integrity.
• Perform changeovers efficiently, ensuring correct settings and no mechanical defects.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records, including downtime reports.
• Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve quality and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in a fast-paced packaged goods environment; beverage experience preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of production machinery and forklifts, including technical issues.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
• Preferred training in WHMIS, HACCP, Hygiene, etc.
• Forklift certification may be required.
