We’re looking for a Production Print Field Service Technician to join our team!

As a Production Systems Specialist, you maintain and repair Production Print Products and resolve customer printing issues while maintaining effective relationships with customers and the Sales Department.
Responsibilities
What you’ll do here
- Maintain and repair MFPs and resolve customer printing issues
- Perform on-site service of MFPs
- Maintain effective relationships with customers and sales
- Maintain parts and call management as well as accurate records to achieve KPI targets
- Responsible to learn new technologies
- 5% - Lead referrals and product promotion to existing customers
- 95% - break-fix and customer support
- Understand territory parts budget and inventory control
- Follow policies and procedures set forth by KMBS
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
What you bring to the table:
- Previous experience servicing production printers or MFPs required
- 0-2 years technical/repair of electronics or software equipment
- Knowledge of basic Microsoft OS printing and common network concepts
- Basic awareness of common solutions
- Low to mid end office systems certifications
- Basic Color theory
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to operate independently, with occasional assistance
- Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated, and committed to building strong customer relations
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the US; must provide valid travel documents at own expense
- Own vehicle with valid insurance and driver's license in good standing
- Availability for standby and after-hours work; training may require travel and overnight stays, including weekends
- Required to achieve an Associate Level Certification
- High School diploma or equivalent; certifications such as CompTIA A+, Net+, CDIA+, Microsoft MCP or MCITP preferred

- Les déplacements au Canada et aux États-Unis sont requis.
- Le candidat doit fournir et maintenir des documents de voyage valides à ses frais.
- Véhicule personnel et possession d'une assurance valide avec une couverture appropriée et un permis de conduire valide en bon état.
- Possibilité de travail de garde et en dehors des heures normales de travail.
- La formation peut nécessiter des déplacements après les heures de travail et des séjours, y compris les week-ends.
- Doit obtenir la certification de niveau associé.
- Diplôme d'études secondaires ou équivalent; certifications comme CompTIA A+, Net+, CDIA+, Microsoft MCP ou MCITP appréciées.
