Advanced Bending Technologies is looking for an experienced and energetic Machine Operator to join our Pipe Bending department in Calgary, Alberta.

• Our Machine Operator positions have a starting wage range of $25-$35 per hour based on experience and an assessment during the interview stage. Increases are then reviewed throughout employment.

Role Responsibilities

• Material layouts before bending
• Operating bending equipment
• In-process inspections to ensure product meets quality requirements
• Material handling (overhead cranes)
• Tooling setup/fabrication
• Loading the material, adjusting the machine's parameters (feed, limits), and initiating the bending process
• Monitoring and adjusting parameters as required to achieve the desired bend geometry
• Inspecting the bent material for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and defects

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• Fabrication experience (welding/torch cutting/etc. an asset)
• High School diploma or higher; basic understanding of math is an asset
