Shearer’s Foods Canada, Inc. is seeking an Ovenroom Machine Operator for the Baking Department. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:00pm, with a starting pay of CAD 23.40 per hour plus a CAD 1.00 shift premium (24.40 CAD/hour after 1,040 hours).
You will measure ingredients, monitor equipment, maintain production records, and help keep the workstation clean, while complying with allergen and safety requirements.

Operators measure ingredients following a recipe, maintain records of material used and monitor machines for faults. Assemble, disassemble, and clean tooling as required while keeping the work area clean. Physically capable of heavy lifting (50 lbs.) throughout shift.

Leadership – The Machine Operator will set the example for the line, as such they will need to follow all policies/procedures set forth by Shearers Foods LLC. Computer Skills - Must have basic computer skills required to run production. Verifications on computer will be done routinely throughout the day.
Time Management – Will have to effectively manage his/her own time. Quality verifications will be performed at specific intervals throughout the day. The machine operator is responsible for completing changeovers in allotted time as well as planning his/her breaks around lulls in activity.
Physical Demands – The machine operator must be able to move, twist, or lift up to 50lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
