Job summary

McCormick Canada is hiring a Machine Operator to join our London, ON manufacturing team on the Afternoon B Shift (Mon-Fri, 2:40pm-11:00pm). You will operate and feed production machines, assist with routine maintenance and changeovers, perform sanitation, and help track production statistics while upholding strict quality standards.

Qualifications include an OSS Diploma or equivalent, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and experience with SAP is a plus.

We are currently hiring for a Machine Operator to join our Operations team at 600 Clarke Road, London (519 432 7311). This position is on an Afternoon B Shift (Monday‑Friday, 2:40pm‑11:00pm).

Position Overview

Working in our manufacturing environment, you will:

• Supply and operate various production machines
• Assist in routine equipment maintenance and change overs
• Perform sanitation procedures
• Assist in generating and tracking production statistics
• Maintain quality standards by performing quality checks
• Work safely and follow all in‑place policies and procedures

Qualifications

• OSSD diploma or equivalent and successful passing of basic qualification testing
• Ability to safely perform physical work, including pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively
• Ability to work overtime and in a fast‑paced environment
• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately complete paperwork and data input in a fast‑paced environment
• Relevant mechanical experience, experience with operating automatic and semi‑automatic filling and packaging equipment, and SAP knowledge would be considered an asset

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base pay for this position is $21.23 per hour + $1.00 per hour shift differential for shift. Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Dividend Program.
