AMBICO Limited is seeking a Machine Operator 2 for laser and press brake operations. The role requires reading and interpreting drawings, programming parts, and maintaining quality in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
You will work closely with Engineering and Production teams to optimize workflow and ensure safety and accuracy. This onsite position runs Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM, with opportunities to mentor junior operators and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

About the role
The Machine Operatoris responsible forthe programming, setup, and operation of laser cutting and press brake equipment to produce high-quality, customized metal components. This role requires strong technicalexpertisein reading and interpreting drawings, planning material usage, and ensuringaccurateand efficient production.
Working closely with Engineering and Production teams, theMachineOperator supports workflow optimization,maintainsequipment through routine checks and basic maintenance, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The position also plays a key role in quality assurance, safe material handling, and mentoring junior operators within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a new position being staffed which requires the individual to be onsite five(5) days a week, Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM.
What you'll do
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma
AND
CNC OperatorCertificateor comparable certificationis anasset.
AND
At least 2 years of experience working with a CNC machine.
