Ambico Limited, a longtime manufacturer of high-performance doors, frames, and windows, is seeking a CNC/Machine Operator in Ottawa. You will program, set up, and operate laser cutting and press brake equipment, interpret drawings, plan workflows, and mentor junior operators in a fast-paced shop.
Onsite five days a week (2:30PM–11:00PM), you’ll help ensure quality, efficiency, and safety while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and production reporting.

The Machine Operatoris responsible forthe programming, setup, and operation of laser cutting and press brake equipment to produce high-quality, customized metal components. This role requires strong technicalexpertisein reading and interpreting drawings, planning material usage, and ensuringaccurateand efficient production.
Working closely with Engineering and Production teams, theMachineOperator supports workflow optimization,maintainsequipment through routine checks and basic maintenance, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives. The position also plays a key role in quality assurance, safe material handling, and mentoring junior operators within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This is a new position being staffed which requires the individual to be onsite five(5) days a week, Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM.
Education: High school diploma
AND
CNC OperatorCertificateor comparable certificationis anasset.
AND
At least 2 years of experience working with a CNC machine.
