IPEX is seeking a Machine Operator for our Mississauga, ON site. The role focuses on cutting and bending pipe to product specs on a day shift, with on‑the‑job training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices is necessary.
• Basic math skills including geometry and fractions.
• Able to solve problems using sound judgment based on prior practices.
• Ability to multitask and adhere to instructions.
• Willingness to work a 12-hour continental shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lay out work assignments for maximum efficiency.
• Operate cutting saws and pipe bending machines.
• Maintain proper regrind control and sort regrind materials.
• Operate strapping equipment and air nailers.
• Pack products per packaging specifications and inspect quality.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S in the area.
