Job summary

IPEX Group is seeking a Saw Operator to join its production team on a 3-month fixed-term contract at our Mississauga facility. You will set up and operate cutting saws to meet customer and production specifications, and contribute to product quality and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cutting saws according to production requirements and specifications.
• Cut pipe products to meet quality and dimensional standards.
• Plan and organize work assignments to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Perform routine quality inspections and verify conformance.
• Manage regrind materials with proper sorting and control procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping and support 5S practices in the work area.
• Complete production and administrative documentation as required.
• Follow all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
• Support other production functions and activities as directed by the supervisor.
