Job summary

Insulectro in Toronto, Ontario is seeking operators for short cycle machine production to support quantity outputs. You will start/stop machines, load feeds, and monitor operations to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.

We value safety and accuracy; duties include labeling materials, completing MO transactions, and possibly light shipping/receiving tasks. Overtime may be required as needed, with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience with machinery or tools.
• Detail oriented with focus on safety and quality work standard.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Forklift and Oracle experience is a plus.
• Must pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Operate short cycle machines for quantity production of identical units.

• Inspect production to ensure quality and verify product and machine.
• Request repairs to keep equipment in top operating condition.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Complete proper transactions for each MO or job.
• Label material with correct descriptions.
• Meet or exceed customer specifications per manufacturing orders.
• May perform shipping, receiving, and packaging as needed.
• Perform other general machine operation tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for short cycle machine operations associated with quantity production of identical units
• Start and stop the machine, load/feed the machine, and watch machines operation
• Monitor production to ensure quality and perform verifications and inspection of the product and the machine
• Make sure the equipment is in top operation performance by calling for repairs when needed
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Complete the proper transactions for each MO or job
• Label material with correct descriptions
• Meet or exceed customers specifications as outlined on the manufacturing order
• May have some warehouse responsibilities including shipping, receiving, and packaging material as needed
• Any other general machine operation tasks or responsibilities assigned by his or her supervisors

Qualifications:

• 2 - 5 years of experience and knowledge of machinery and/or tools desired
• Detailed oriented with a focus on safety and quality work standard
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Excellent team player and positive work approach
• Must pass a Background Check
• Forklift and Oracle experience is a plus
